CSS formatting

Hello Prof. James
The assignment of using CSS to format the page in terms of the poem has helped me a lot in getting cleared few doubts in CSS. This is because of the fact that I had the option of fully concentrating on the page's layout and not the matter. If you compare the CSS I used in this page with the earlier web pages, you can feel that I had a better command of CSS in this page. I think that my layout could still have been better but I am learning new things as everyday passes. The most important thing is that this assignment has opened a few more doors for me as far as designing web pages is concerned. Things are much clear for me now in CSS. I know how important CSS is in the web designing field and I feel my confidence has gone up a level with this assignment.
I think it was a very unique assignment and it must have helped everyone, especially students who struggle in CSS, like me sometimes :)

Here I am providing a link to my poem web page. POEM
Here I have used both linked css(poem.css) and inline css(span style...)
Please provide me the feedback, if possible, about any improvements I can make in this web page.
Thank You

Designs in css zengarden

Hello Prof. James.

Here I am going to comment on the designs I saw in the website CSS Zengardens.

1)The page I liked the most
The design I liked the most was Icicle Outback.
The thing I liked the most was the way different shades of color blue were used. The design has an unfinished look(I strictly don't mean that it is incomplete), which is the real eye catcher for me. The use of a darker shade of blue as a background where the text is written is really cool and innovative.
Other than this, the design is not that complicated. The use of CSS and HTML is good. Nested divs have been used for the design. It is simple and looks good to the eye. No flashy and gaudy things are used, which is another good feature.

2)The page i liked the least
The design I liked the least was Lily Pond.
One word that best describes my opinion of the page is Messy. The background of frog in a flower is not needed at all(or if needed should be put somewhere else in the page) and the text written over it makes the page look under-developed. I feel, that the color combination used here is not a good one. Also, the point of building a simple web page goes to the dumps according to this page, since unnecessary graphics have been used.
